So, what is counselling?
Counselling is a confidential, safe space for you to explore what is going on for you and to be heard without judgement.
Humanistic counselling approaches each person as a unique individual. It works to promote the individuals need to grow and realise their own potential, in their own unique way. It avoids the 'expert' position, rather valuing the client's experiences and ability to make decisions for their own emotional growth.
It is important to the therapeutic relationship that you feel comfortable so if we are not the right fit, don't worry there will be a therapist who is right for you.
